Alex has an unrivaled background in the subject of roofs, gutters and gutter protection, with multiple patents already under his tool belt. He will help homeowners and contractors understand the science of what is happening on and around their roofs, and sweep away much of the misinformation that is a part of modern home improvement marketing.
Alex will discuss his journey from innovative, but struggling, builder to multi-patented, but still struggling, inventor, and how he came to create micromesh gutter protection, the most radical development in the industry for decades. He will also give advice to other inventors, much of it hard-earned, about how best to write and protect patents. We may even get him to sing one of his country music compositions.
